Richard D. Ailor, October 18, 1942 – February 20, 2012

Funeral services for 69 year-old Ricahrd Ailor of Falls of Rough will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday (Feb. 28, 2012) at the Watson & Hunt Funeral Chapel in Leitchfield. Burial will be in the Leitchfield Memory Gardens. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home.

Survivors include, four children, one brother, one sister, and nine grandchildren.

Brandy Nicole Brooks, August 17, 1985 – February 26, 2012

Funeral services for 26 year-old Brandy Brooks of Leitchfield will be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday (Mar. 1, 2012) at the Watson & Hunt Funeral Chapel in Leitchfield. Burial will be in the New Freedom Cemetery. Visitation will be held after 12 noon, Wednesday and from 9:00 a.m. until service time on Thursday at the funeral home.

Survivors include, her mother, Patricia Rankin (David) of Leitchfield, her father, Sammy Brooks of Caneyville, four sisters, Brittany Brooks of Leitchfield, Stephanie Brooks of Breckinridge County, Bailey Rankin of Leitchfield, & Emily Rankin of Bowling Green, three brothers, Dakota Brooks of Leitchfield, Junior Brooks of Caneyville, & Dalton Rankin of Shrewbury, her grandfathers, Robert Hill & Don Rankin, and her fiancé, Lawrence Phillips of Vine Grove.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made in the form of donations to help with the funeral expenses.

John Bennett Poteet, March 16, 1926 – February 29, 2012

Funeral services for 85 year old John Poteet of Leitchfield will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday (Mar. 4, 2012)at the Providence General Baptist Church in Leitchfield with Bro. Sonny Cockriel officiating. Burial will be in the Providence Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held after 4:00 p.m. Friday and all day Saturday at the church. Watson & Hunt Funeral Directors are handling the arrangements.

Survivors include his wife, Altina Poteet, of Leitchfield, five children, Charles Brent Poteet (Diana) of Louisville, Villian “Vicki” Catlett (Bruce) of Maysville, Vincent Poteet of Mississippi, Tryson Leathers of Louisville and Johnnie Williams (Steve) of Big Clifty, one brother, James Poteet of Edmonson County, eleven grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral services for 52 year-old Randall Williams of Falls of Rough will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday (Feb. 29, 2012) at the Dermitt Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville. Shane Brown will be officiating. Burial will be in the Leach Cemetery. Friends may call at the Dermitt Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville after 3:00pm Tuesday and from 9:00 a.m. Wednesday until time of service.

Survivors include, one sister Norma Jeanne Isaacs (Jerry) of Leitchfield and one brother Fred Roeder (Norma) of Horse Branch.

Joshua Mudd, April 15, 1993 – February 25, 2012

Funeral services for 18 year-old Joshua Mudd of Caneyville will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 3, 2012 at the Dermitt Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville. Bro. Larry Bolton will be officiating. Burial will be in the Woosely Cemetery at Caney Creek Church. Friends may call at the Dermitt Joyce Funeral Home in Caneyville after 2:00 p.m. Friday and from 9:00 a.m. Saturday until time of service.

Survivors include, his parents Ricky and Sandi Mudd, one brother, Adam Mudd (Brittany), two sisters, Kandi Mudd Helphenstine (Kenney) all of Caneyville, Tiffany Baxter of Leitchfield, two nieces, five nephews, paternal grandparents Ernest and Linda Mudd of Caneyville, maternal grandmother Freda Morgan Mattingly (William) of Leitchfield, maternal grandfather Roger Deskins (Anita) and maternal great grandmother Olive Deskins both of West Virginia.
